Matt Baker is a commercial photographer and cinematographer with experience producing branding and marketing content for several higher education institutions. Currently, he is the multimedia producer for Ashland University. His photography and videography convey a sense of personality and mood. His current photography interests include shooting portraiture, lifestyle, and fashion. Matt loves storytelling and feels multimedia provides a stronger, more intimate platform to share people’s stories. He feels at home when shooting photography in the studio but is comfortable working in any environment.
Matt has previous work experience at Centre College and Kent State University. He produced marketing content for university departments, events, and student organizations there. He also worked for The Kent Stater, where he specialized in portraiture. Matt also has intern experience with Todd Biss Productions, a studio located in Akron, Ohio. Here, he assisted in producing award-winning content for clients such as Summit Racing, Hattie Larlham, and Hoover.
His future career aspirations include creating visual media in a commercial setting. Matt is incredibly passionate about the work he does. He strives to keep growing and producing quality work while meeting and connecting with people.
